Aston-Villa Prodigy Signs!

After a short break since our first signing, 'Pleggy', Steven Schumacher announced 'Kaine Kesler-Hayden' as our second summer signing on a season-long loan from Aston Villa.

At only 20 years old, Kaine has not played many games so far in his career yet has many noticeable moments. One of them, his Aston Villa debut was in the 4-1 win against Liverpool during the covid season when the Brummies' first team were unable to play due to isolation.

He has also played Championship football for Huddersfield Town and for previous League One play-off contenders MK Dons. His first loan spell was at Swindon Town, where he won the young player of the Season whilst only being there for half a season.

Steven Schumacher described Kaine as a player that will give us 'Energy and Versatility'. This profile fits very similarly to our previous loan signings and their playstyles, such as Fin Azaz and Bali Mumba. Fin Azaz in fact is also still on the Aston Villa books and was seen to comment on Kaine's Argyle announcement on Instagram. Could we see Azaz return and link up with his former teammate?
