Argyle has announced Lewis Gibson as the 3rd signing of the summer, another defender!
He joins on a free transfer from the club Schuey himself had played for, and supported, Everton. Having played for Joey Barton's Bristol Rovers twice against the Argyle last season, he may be a memorable face to many.

Lewis has represented England at under 17, 18 and 20 levels, winning the Fifa-Under 17 World Cup in 2017. At only 22 years old now, there is potential for Gibson to become a great player under Steven Schumacher.
He has also had Championship experience having played for Reading in the 20/21 season on loan.
Yannick Bolasie even recognised the new signing on Instagram, stating under Gibson's post 'Part of the green army, enjoy it bro lovely place of the world'. People will remember Yannick as a player with flair, pure skill and mainly passion for the Argyle shirt - a fan favourite.
Yannick went on to play for Everton, simultaneously with Lewis Gibson's long stint in the Toffee's youth team.
